Welcome to Tangeld!
I'm Danielle, and I make things that didn't exist yesterday.
Today, I work at the crossroads of luxury branding, influencer marketing, and tech. Whether I’m crafting copy for a brand launch, architecting a social media campaign, or designing AI-powered workflows, my goal is the same: to help clients turn complexity into clarity and always have a creative approach to every solution.
A little bit about me and my career path: My longest tenure was as a copywriter for Net-a-Porter and Mr. Porter for eight years, with a specific technical focus on details and fit. During my time there, I did everything from crafting copy to touching base with buyers and analyzing returns for fit on a weekly (and sometimes daily) basis.
While I loved the technical side and problem-solving of my position at Net-a-Porter, I also knew I had to expand my experience to pursue other roles. During some newfound free-time during the lockdowns of 2020, I began to explore my own creative ambitions and started the blog “My Tangeld Life” (not a misspelling, but rather a play on my last name, if you haven’t already figured that out). I developed it into a newsletter, along with corresponding social media. I collaborated with brands and got a taste for both the creative and collaboration side of things.
A few years later, I decided to freelance and test out these skills, and a wonderful agency gave me the chance. My first client was one that I had dreamed of working with: Moët Hennessy. I worked with them running organic social for a new venture e-commerce project, while also assisting with the influencer side of things. After my two years there, I worked with brands both big and small on organic and paid social media, copywriting, CRM, and have even run my own influencer campaigns and managed high-stakes product launches
In recent years, I became part of a new initiative our agency was leading: teaching enterprises to implement AI into their current workflows. With a background in copywriting, and having used AI models since 2021, I became the lead prompt engineer on this initiative: making sure the LLMs (robots) do what we ask of them, correctly. Alongside my work in AI education and prompt engineering for others, I’ve also developed programs and products myself, some of which you can find in my portfolio.
At the heart of what I do, AI or manual, I always ensure one thing: that creativity is never lost, and always stays in the hands of humans. As a copywriter by trade, I can tell you within two sentences what was written with AI and what was crafted organically. That’s why I support integrating AI where useful, or going completely hands-off, and I personally choose to practice working in both capacities. Today, I still classify myself as a copywriter, continue to work on ongoing copy projects, love assisting in building brands, and most importantly, enjoy supporting growth, scalability, and long-term visions.
Anyway, that’s me! As you can see, I consider myself somewhat of a chameleon. I’m as comfortable working in Klaviyo as I am in Cursor, I can push to a repo as quickly as I can craft the copy for a push notification.
Whether you’re looking for a tone of voice guide, full creative direction, or an AI workflow that saves you from having to send cold outreach, I’d be glad to support.
For me, it’s not about chasing trends. It’s about building lasting foundations, empowering clients with the tools they need, and creating meaningful connections that drive both business success and personal fulfillment.
I invite you to work with me!
