Merry Christmas Eve, everyone!
It's the most wonderful time of the year and by now most of us are feeling pretty good. We have our trees up, presents wrapped, and cookies in the oven. But did you remember everything? Here's a checklist, along with my favorite tips and tricks, to finish up those final holiday touches.
Holiday Cards
Did you send out holiday cards this year? It's not too late if you haven't! Send holiday cards right to all of your loved ones' phones this year (because who has time to buy stamps) with my favorite site for cards and invites: Paperless Post. You know Grandma Jane will love how convenient it is to show off her grandkids to everyone at her holiday parties. Of course, you may have to show her how to do it first. The best part? Get 20% off today only with code: Jolly at www.paperlesspost.com/christmas-cards. Pick out your New Year's Eve party invites as well while the sale is on!
Baking
Somehow I've taken on the role of head-baker for the holidays. It is a blessing and a curse depending on how prepared I am. If you are in charge of bringing a baked good to your Christmas party this year, you can find my easiest recipes to make here (including a non-bake Oreo truffle recipe that is a guaranteed hit!)
Gifts
I feel that there's ALWAYS one person you never know what to get (or that you forget about... don't worry we won't tell 😉 ). The past few years I've been big into giving experiences as gifts. It's so simple and the least stressful to buy. This year I'm giving my family everything from facials to Wrecking Club sessions (highly recommend checking this out if you haven't heard of it). Make a cute envelope and you have a gift that will be enjoyed beyond Christmas Day!
Outfits
I can't tell you the last time I've bought an outfit specifically for Christmas. As a girl who doesn't wear much color, I always do black with a hint of red. There are multiple ways you can switch up a holiday look, especially with animal print being such a staple trend this season! Above are 2 simple outfits that you can accent in multiple ways to make perfect for the holidays whether your parties are formal, casual, or somewhere in between.
That about covers it! Hopefully these tips and tricks will help make your holidays a lot more stress-free. Let us know below your favorite ways to enjoy the season and what you do to make this time more enjoyable and less stressful.
Merry everything to you all! xo.
