Every year it's like I blink and summer is coming near to the end. This year is certainly no exception. Anyone else feel the same? Even though Labor Day is right around the corner, that doesn't mean that we can't get a little bit of time left with our favorite summer linens while the weather is still hot.
Recently I went sunflower picking which, as hippy-esque as that sounds, really helped to reset my mind and breathe in some true fresh air. Sometimes a day away, in a different environment, spent with nature is all we need to get motivated for the week ahead. I've been loving a summer dress with a low top sneaker for a casual day out. Linen is truly one of the best summer fabrics as it is lightweight and breathable. Plus, the muted and neutral colors linen is typically available in is perfectly aligned with the trends of this year. I personally love a baby blue or a beige.
Enjoy the warm air while it is here, sunflower season is still around for another couple of weeks so get out there while you can!
