Happy (-ish) almost end of summer, you guys! While temperatures out here in NYC are soaring higher than ever this summer, it is almost time to start transitioning into earth tones once again with a little splash of animal print to represent this season's biggest trend. Meanwhile, being the biggest summer fan, I'm not quite ready to let go of my sleeveless dresses.
Did you know you can find mini forests in NYC? We're full of surprises here 😉 On my recent stroll through Meatpacking and up to the High Line on a lovely 95 degree day I chose a navy slip dress with athletic stripes down the side. I've loved the idea of athletic stripes since they first appeared on Monse's runway last year and had since become a hit all around. I paired this with my pair of red sock boots although can easily be paired with a pair of dad sneakers for a 2018 street style vibe. As you may know I have a weird paranoia about never mixing metals ... ever... so to compliment my layered gold necklaces I added these gold sunnies (that I've had forever but I linked a similar pair below).
